Available Positions
The Vice President for Internal Affairs shall assist the President in the performance of duties, monitor the organization’s internal activities, and assume the office of the President in cases of vacancy, absence, or incapacity and also perform other functions as may be necessary under the circumstances.
The Secretary is responsible for recording all minutes of the organization's meetings and serves as the official custodian of all records, papers, and correspondence. In addition to certifying all official acts of the organization, the secretary prepares formal letters for all organizational activities and performs any other duties as assigned by the President.
The Assistant Secretary shall assist the Secretary in all administrative and clerical functions of the organization. In the absence or incapacity of the Secretary, or upon directive of the CASSC Lipa, the Assistant Secretary shall assume the responsibilities of the Secretary and also perform other duties as may be assigned by the President.
The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining accurate records and overseeing all funds and properties of the organization. This role includes depositing organizational funds into an accredited bank and managing withdrawals as necessary, subject to the approval of the President. Furthermore, the Treasurer is tasked with submitting a financial report to the organization at the conclusion of every activity and performing any additional duties as deemed necessary by the President.
The Assistant Treasurer is responsible for supporting the Treasurer in all financial matters and overseeing organizational assets. In the event that the Treasurer is absent, incapacitated, or specifically directed by the CASSC Lipa President, the Assistant Treasurer assumes all duties and responsibilities of the office. Additionally, they perform any other tasks as deemed necessary by the President.
The Auditor shall examine and verify the organization’s expenses, liabilities, and supporting documents. This position shall immediately inform the President and other officers of any transactions that may be detrimental to the organization, and shall propose measures to protect its interests and also perform other duties as may be assigned by the President.
The Committee on Student Grievances shall oversee the concerns of the students of College of Arts and Sciences.
The Committee on Disaster Risk Reduction Management is in charge of ensuring students' safety and well-being before, during, and after accidents, disasters (natural and man-made), and emergencies. Thus, they shall also be responsible for attending and creating training and seminars that will prepare the whole university in these aspects.
The Committee for Creatives and Branding shall be responsible for the use of the organization’s official Facebook page and the creation of publication materials for every event of the organization.
The Committee for Technical Operations and Documentation is responsible for focusing on technical and documentation aspects to ensure the proper execution of events and activities by coordinating and managing all necessary technical requirements, while providing detailed documentation.
General Eligibility Requirements
a) Must be a bona fide student of BatStateU The NEU Lipa
b) Must have a general weighted average of 2.5 (80%-82%) during the last semester/term attended.
c) Must be full-time student taking an academic load of the minimum prescribed units by the program course;
d) Have a continuous residency in the University for at least two years for four-year courses and at least three years for five-year courses.
